[MDaemon] Too Many Recipients error

Problem

My users get a '452 - too many recipients' error when sending to more than 100 users.
Solution

By default, MDaemon sets a limit of 100 recipients per message received via SMTP. This is what the RFC (Internet standards) suggest.

If you would like to change this setting:

1. Open the Setup menu
2. Click on Miscellaneous Options
3. Select the Servers tab
4. Edit the value under the 'Allow this many RCPT commands per message' field
5. Click Apply and OK

Solution

By default, MDaemon sets a limit of 100 recipients per message received via SMTP. This is the minimum number of recipients per message that the RFC (Internet standards) suggests accepting.

If you would like to change this setting, open the MDaemon console:

1. Click the Setup menu
2. Click Default Domain/ Servers
3. Select Servers on the left pane
4. Edit the value beside ...allows only this many RCPT field
5. Click OK
