匯入設定檔：【File】→【Import Configuration...】，可以匯入 4.5 版的 Queue 設定，支援 REG、XML 副檔名。

如何取出 RPM 所接收的資料

如果您找不到正確的 Codepage，請把 RPM 接收到的資料寄給我們，方法是：暫停（Suspend）您所使用的 RPM Queue 並且傳送一個列印工作給它，當列印工作被顯示時，開啟它的內容（Properties）來找到資料存在於本機的位置，請將這個資料寄給我們，由我們來幫您判斷 Codepage。

The RPM Remote Print Manager™ setup is a step through process. The two important items are: IP address of the PC and the RPM queue name. These are used as pointers in the HP-UX print queue to point the job to the RPM host. Here is the steps of accessing RPM from HP-UX 10.x.

1. Log in as root and run sam.
2. Choose Printers and Plotters, LP Spooler, and Printers and Plotters (you will see all queues).
3. Tab, Actions, Add Remote Printer/Plotter.
* Printer name = # Name of printer know on HP-UX
* Remote system name = # IP address or hostname of RPM host. Should be configured in /etc/hosts or /etc/hosts.lpd
* Remote printer name = # Name of queue in RPM
* Put "x" in "Remote printer is on a BSD system. This is an important choice as RPM emulates a BSD LPD print server almost completely.
4. Tab to OK and press Enter.
5. Exit sam and test.

利用 Windows Installer 執行 Silent Uninstall

如何靜默移除(Silent Uninstall)某個軟體？您必須使用一個 Command Line Tool 來做。這個 Command Line Tool 叫做「msiexec.exe」。要作到「Silent」，您必須下達以下的指令：

msiexec.exe /x {Product-Code-In-GUID-Format} /qn

其中：

1. /x：代表「移除」的意思。
2. {Proudct-Code-In-GUID-Format}：這是一組 GUID （Global Unique IDentifier）數字，可以從 Registry Key Database 查到，或者，如果您也可以在「Installation Designer --> General Information」的右半邊畫面，找到「Product Code」這個屬性。寫的時候，請包含左右大括號。一套軟體，一定只有一組獨一無二的「Product Code」，這點在任何情況、任何機器下都不會變。
3. /qn：代表「Silent」或「Without UI」的意思。

至於如何包裝到讓使用者執行這隻程式，不用自行輸入，我想簡單的可以用批次檔（.bat），複雜一點，可以請工程師，撰寫一隻 exe 檔，利用開啟 Command Shell 的方式，將「msiexe.exe /x {您的產品代碼} /qn」這一長串字串，送入 Command Shell 去執行就可以了。各種程式語言（C / C++ / VB / Java / ...）開啟 Command Shell 的方式都不太一樣，您可以自行選擇喜歡的程式語言去找到相對應的方法。

For SNMP Monitoring: The monitored device(s) must be equipped with SNMP Version 1, 2c or 3 (or an SNMP software must be installed on the device). SNMP must be enabled on the device and the machine running PRTG must be allowed access to the SNMP interface.

For Netflow Monitoring: The device must be configured to send NetFlow data packets (NetFlow Version 5) to the machine running PRTG and a Netflow Collector must be set up in PRTG.

For Packet Sniffing: Only data packets passing the local machine’s network card can be analyzed. For cross-network monitoring in switched networks the use of switches with so-called “monitoring ports” is necessary. See the manual for detailed information.
